Ripped off Sir Martin's blog.
Choose a band/artist and answer ONLY IN SONG TITLES by that band:

Artist/Band: Billy Joel
Are you male or female?: "She's Always A Woman"
Describe yourself: "Got To Begin Again"
How do some people feel about you?: "Shameless"
How do you feel about yourself?: "If I Only Had The Words To Tell You"
Describe what you want to be: "I Don't Want To Be Alone"
Describe how you live: "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me"
Describe how you love: "I Go To Extremes"
Share a few words of wisdom: "Only The Good Die Young"

Hehe...how'd I do? Stick around, I might do Motley Crue next time if enough people are interested. :P

On an unrelated note, after all the crap that had transpired last Saturday (I mean before I went restaurant-hopping with the boys, 'cause that rocked mah night), I'd been in doubt about myself...whether I was being who I should be, or if I was losing touch of who I was, or losing sight of my principles. So reading Jimpo's testimonial for me just a few minutes ago made me feel a little better, especially this bit:

"She is a really nice person"

Because I was afraid I wasn't.

So thanks, Jimpo. Your testim doesn't suck. :)

A Night Out with the Boys!

I said something that probably put me on the bad side of a lot of my classmates, and I felt like a total asshat for saying it, even if the reasons behind that statement were not at all asshat-y. Just human. I wrote an online apology and explanation on my class's Yahoo Group, but it probably is, as Alanis Morissette once sang, "a death row pardon two minutes too late." Awwww.

And yeah, I felt crappy about the consequences garnered by my stupid mouth. Even hugging all the stuffed toys in the Eastwood branch of Toytown couldn't help alleviate the feeling of dire crappiness (yes, I tried it). But see, the one thing that's great about boy buds is that they can make you laugh no matter how shitty you feel. Thanks, Ilang boys and Gippo! :)

Due to appointments with the dentist and the dermatologist, I was over six hours late for our class outing at Eastwood. I met up with Gippo, Raffy, Ryan, Lori, and Jasper at the billiards place there and joined them in a few games of 8-ball and 9-ball. And I kinda sucked at it, but I had fun. Haha. Then we went to Starbucks for some awkward moments (for me, anyway) which I got through by faking a smile like I always do, and telling Gippo about my problem. And giggling at the name Gippo used at Starbucks while ordering his and Raffy's beverages: iced vanilla and iced chocolate for "Feli." XD The worst was over quickly, thank God. After that decrescendo, the real fun began! >:)

[Although I was looking behind my shoulder most of the time to make sure my parents didn't see me. They would've freaked out---I was the only girl there.]

Dinner was at Something Fishy, a restaurant name that the guys laughed about for reasons I refuse to disclose here :P , and the teeny tiny servings there also became something to laugh about---hell, everything becomes something to laugh about when those guys are around! We ordered [Lori's mock high-pitched voice]liempo, calamares, and sisig[/Lori's mock high-pitched voice], and seafood rice (the servings of which, thankfully, were larger than the liempo, calamares, and sisig). I ordered Coke Light, later realizing that everyone else was drinking water ("Para ma-guilty ka!" - Ryan). We split the bill seven ways (me, Lori, Gippo, Robin, Ryan, Raffy, and Jasper), P100 each, while Robin paid only P50. He paid the rest by being the butt of several Muslim jokes for the rest of the night. XD

Jokes like...

Jasper: "Huy, mag-prayer before meals tayo para ma-OP si Robin!!!"

...and...

Lori: "Dapat lahat ng i-order natin pork para hindi makakain si Robin!!!"

Heh. Good laughs, yeah. Thanks, Robin.

Being pretty much the only one to really know his way around Eastwood, Gippo led the way for us the whole time (eating at Something Fishy was actually his idea). We followed him to Jack's Loft, a dark, artsy hang-out illuminated by candles, for dessert. Needless to say, I loved the ambiance. Since we all knew that he knew what he was doing, we---save for Ryan, who ordered Death by Chocolate, and Robin, who didn't get anything---just ordered the same thing that Gippo ordered (Mango Mousse). That, and two orders of Fishbowl Iced Tea: iced tea in a large fishbowl-sized glass (that contained more ice than actual iced tea, dernit). There were three straws each glass, Ryan, Gippo and Jasper sharing one glass, and me, Raffy and Lori sharing the other. Robin sat in the middle with his own straw. And, perhaps as retribution for his not paying P100 like the rest of us earlier, we drank up all the iced tea and shoved the glasses filled with nothing but ice towards him ("Pag natunaw na 'yan, may tubig ka na! O diba?"). More Muslim jokes were made, and since there weren't any teachers around, horse jokes too. Hehe.

At 9:30 p.m., we parted ways, although I'm not exactly sure if Ryan, Raffy, Gippo, Lori and Jasper managed to squeeze themselves into one taxicab for their ride home like they'd planned to. :P

We didn't drink any alcoholic beverages that night (next time, R.R. Next time. ^___^ ), but I left Jack's Loft drunk with laughter, and even if it was just for a couple of hours, I managed to forget my blues. This is exactly what I needed. Again, guys...thanks a lot. :)
